SELAULIM  DAM Hey guys this is my experiences  to salaulim dam with my friends.  A group of friends n i rode down to Selaulim dam So our group had decided to meet near railway station margao at morning , the distance to the dam was about 25 km..not too far away for a visit on a lazy morning.The dam itself and it's environs are beautiful as u would expect.Completely silent with only the sounds of the birds.Entry for the dam is Rs 20 and people can visit from 9 am to 6 pm.There is a funnel like structure in the centre of the dam a quite a sight i was told by the security guard.Speaking of security, photography is prohibited once on the dam since it's a "sensitive" location but the guards didn't seem too intent on enforcing it .According to me the restaurant condition was not  that good.so i would recomend to take your own food items. if food items or plastics are littered they charge levy fine.The gardens are very well laid out and maintained and would...

CABO DE RAMA FORT

INTRODUCTION TO CABO DE RAMA  Portuguese claimed the  Cabo de Rama  Fort after defeating the Raja (King) of Soonda and renovated it subsequently. In the past, the fort has switched hands between Hindu, Muslim monarchs and the Portuguese and witnessed many battles in history. The present rickety structure with turrets and rusty cannons is a leftover of the Portuguese. The Portuguese equipped it with 21 guns and military barracks, as well as commandant quarters and a chapel. It was abandoned when the Portuguese left this place. Later, this fort housed a government prison till 1955 and was abandoned again. Today, this fort is in ruins, but is a popular tourist attraction of Goa LOCATION TOTHE FORT The Cabo do Rama fort is located close to Agonda beach and falls on the way to the famous Palolim beach in Goa.  Anjunem Keri Dam Hi guys this  my travelling experience to Anjunem Keri dam. The Anjunem Keri dam is located in  on the Sanquelim-Belgaum highway in Chorla ghat at about 10 km from the Sanquelim town and 42 kms from Panaji. if interested u can take your car or cab or   If you are travelling by bus then take a bus to Belgaum and get down at Anjunem Keri Dam en-route.  It is one of the most idyllic places to enjoy the mystic charm and greenery around. The dam lies in a sylvan valley formed by the proximity of another peak, Morlemgad to its south-east and below one of Goa's highest peaks, Vagheri hill. If you are in Goa, then you must visit the Anjunem dam. Out here, you can be sure to capture some of the best pictures of your life in this site. All those beach lovers who are planning to come to Goa should take a day out to visit this lovely place that is warm and welcoming for the visitors.
